The D-ONE class was well represented by D-ONE sailors at the 2013 Endeavour Trophy: Charlie Chandler, 2013 national champion, Charlie Cumbley, 2012 national champion and Nick Craig, 2011 national champion and 2013 European and Gold Cup winner.

The D-One is an exhilarating and rewarding single-hander that provides close tactical racing upwind, combined with the fun of asymmetric performance.
Designed by Phil Morrison and using the best materials and technology available to provide a unique sailing experience, the Devoti-one is built using carbon foam construction in CNC moulds, giving a stiff light hull. The carbon mast, boom and bow sprit maintain quality throughout and the boat has been extensively tested by a team of top sailors to make sure it is a winner.
Upwind the D-ONE is powered by a large 11.5 sq.m. fully battened main sail that has enough power to be hiking early but easy to keep control when it gets fresher. Downwind, using the 13.2 sq.m. gennaker, the boat is stable and easily driven with plenty of power to the highly manoeuvrable and lightweight hull.
From the leading builders of the Olympic Finn, the D-ONE has become an international success and there is an exciting international regatta programme!
GBR: D-ONE Charter Boats Available in the UK
The GBR D-ONE Class Association is pleased to announce for the winter of 2013/14 the availability of two short-term charter boats sponsored by Devoti Sailing & Suntouched Sailboats. These boats will be available to charter for 3 weeks at a cost of £150 plus a refundable deposit. Should a boat be purchased the charter fee will be refunded (less a Class Association Membership).
GBR: D-ONE Grand Prix Event: Paignton - Sept 2014
Paignton Sailing Club welcomed seven D-Ones to the South West for a cracking two days of racing for their Grand Prix Series as part of the annual P.O.S.H. regatta.
Conditions were testing with a fresh easterly blowing a moderate swell across Lyme Bay into Torbay. This made for entertaining launching and landing in the harbour with gusts coming from all directions and a swell coming round the sea wall.
