La classe ITA D-ONE opera attraverso la D-ONE International Class Association, che ha un rappresentante per ogni paese. Il segretario di classe per l'Italia è:
Campionato Europeo 2017, Alassio, Italy
Circolo Nautico Alassio 20th – 24th September
20 Done provenienti da sei diverse nazioni si sono raccolti nella splendida citta costiera di Alassio, sulla riviera ligure di ponente, per il campionato Europeo 2017.
Il gruppo dei regatanti ha quindi potuto godere di una serie di gradevoli mattinate trascorse nei caffè sulla spiaggia o in chiaccherate tra amici in mezzo alle barche, seguite da pranzi al porto prima di uscire in mare, nel piacevole sole pomeridiano per disputare un paio di prove.
Le brezze leggere hanno prodotto regate molto combattute per tutta la flotta, con necessità costante di scelta tra direzione del vento ed intensità. In ogni prova ci sono stati guadagni e perdite e per diverse prove è stato necessario decidere il vincitore al fotofinish.
Nick Craig si è dimostrato più che adeguato nel gestire le condizioni, ed ha conseguito una consistente serie di primi e secondi posti. Ha anche generosamente tenuto un seminario su come si governa un D-one correttamente che è stato molto apprezzato e davvero efficace, tanto che Chris Wallis e Gilles Chipperfield sono riusciti a vincere le due successive prove, così come Enrico Ciferri che ha vinto una prova e ne ha condotte un altro paio.
In ogni caso nessuno come Nick è riuscito ad accumulare tanti punti in condizioni così capricciose. Congratulazioni ad un grande Campione.
Nel giorno finale, mentre Nick si era già assicurato il titolo, la seconda posizione è stata piuttosto combattuta tra Giles, Enrico, Marek Bachtik and Chris Sallis . Giles ha vissuto una eccellente giornata con due secondi posti che lo hanno consacrato secondo assoluto e Campione Master; Marek ha navigato al meglio con molta costanza per tutta la settimana ed è arrivato a girare la boa finale terzo assoluto.

Also the last race of the season ended with a beautiful event organized by the local Yacht Club which offered great hospitality and awards to respectable draw.
Weather conditions in late October revealed the name and the seasonal nature of the event but did not discourage the competitors that are still fun to do three races and the fourth canceled at the first mark, with medium-light winds and a weekend definitely rainy. eight classes on the same race course, a good show and some of the wind changes have added further difficulty in setting the regatta, some of our "Diuanisti" said seemed to be on the bumper cars, boats everywhere, but I really enjoyed myself ! , although in reality there was no collision and everything went smoothly.
A big applause usually goes to Tamas and Jula who this year have come from Hungary to race with us. The ranking was won by Mario Rabbo which closes the season with maximum points on all fields, followed by Tamas szamody Lake Balaton in great form that only for a trial botched did not win, third place for Michele Mennuti always still struggling for the top positions.
ITA: 2016 National Championships
The ITA D-One fleet made visitors from GBR and HUN very welcome indeed to beautiful Alassio in mid-May.

Full report to follow, but congratulations to Mario Rabbo (ITA 135) on a dominant performance and championship win. Second place was Tamas Szamody (HUN 10), third Alesssandro Novi (ITA 101) and fourth Giles Chipperfield (GBR411). 
Alassio lived up to all its reputations: practice day was gloriously sunny with 25kts from the South West and huge rolling waves. 16.0kts achieved on the D-One GPS! Then we had rain and 5kts from the North East, followed by a day of overcast light Easterlies. But then we finished with the most perfect of all sailing days : baking sun, force 3, tight racing. Sailing simply does not get better than this day.
Many thanks to an excellent race team from CNAM Alassio and to all our friends in the class who made the journey. We will all be back.
34 Criterium Invernale Rapallo

A wonderful event at the foot of the promontory of Portofino, in one of the most beautiful in the world, which is definitely worth a visit before or after the races.
The organization of the Club Nautico Rapallo has been busy at most to do well and accommodate 116 boats divided into nine classes, 420 - Fireball - Laser - Laser Radial - Laser 4.7 - Dinghy - Finn - Equipe - D-One.
