The D-One Gold Cup 2018 will be hosted by Union Yacht Club Wolfgangsee at lake Wolfgangsee (Austria) and will take place from 31st of May to 3rd of June 2018.

 

Lake Wolfgangsee is located in the Austrian federal state of Salzburg and is surrounded by a beautiful scenery of mountains and hills and offers perfect sailing conditions throughout the year. The wind conditions are ranging from light thermal winds up to strong winds with 5bft or more. Because the lake is surrounded by mountains it is known for shifty winds and challenging racing conditions.

Host club UYC-Wolfgangsee is located at the northern end of the lake (St.Gilgen) and is well known for organizing big international events like the Yngling World Championships 2016, the Zoom8 World Championships 2015 and numerours other national and international championships.

Lake Wolfgangsee is located near the city of Salzburg and easy to reach via the A1 motorway from all directions.

Wednesday, 30.5.2018: Practice Race (sceduled warning signal at 3:30pm), Registration (5:00-7:00pm)

Thursday, 31.5.2018: Registration (8:00-10:00am), Briefing (10:30am), Race 1 +2 (first warning signal sceduled at 12:00am)

Friday, 1.6.2018: Race 3 + 4, social event after the racing

Saturday, 2.6.2018: Race 5 + 6, social event after the racing

Sunday, 3.6.2018: Race 7 + 8, Price giving ceremony
