Dutch Open Skiff Trophy 2017

 

This event will be hosted by Aquavitesse at "De Grevelingen" in the Netherlands. This former part of the North Sea was turned into the biggest salt water lake of Europe due to the "Delta Works", which protects the country against floods. This results in a great sailing venue, as the water is calm but the wind conditions are almost the same as they are at sea.

 

At this yearly event, all kinds of skiffs are invited to race against eachother. It is one of the biggest events in the region, attracting sailors of different countries like Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and France.

10:00  - 11:30 : registration
11:00 : skippers meeting
13:00  first start

 

Sunday:

10:00 - 15:00 : races
16:00 : prize giving ceremony
